HasLab 2025: Liokaiser

Not only did the two Victory leaders have successful HasLab campaigns, but the most expensive Victory set yet became the most successful HasLab of all time.

I hope this sends the message that JG1 is VERY viable in Hasbro's markets, and they start treating it as such. Three successful campaigns. You have all the data you need.
I better be able to buy the Road Caesar team at Walmart.
I, on the other hand, hope it doesn't send Hasbro the message of "Oh! We can make HasLabs even more expensive and people will still fund them! Hooray! We can charge our backers even more money!"

I backed Liokaiser, but my wallet still would have preferred if it had been a set priced around the same as the previous two Victory HasLabs instead of twice their price.

That is a concern, yes.
Thing is I paid this for Liokaiser. I'm not willing to pay $300 for much more.

Hail to the (Lion) King.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but it seems there was a error in the count and the number of backers is actually: 23,553 for LioKaiser, so there is going to be less than Victory Saber & Deathsaurus, at least that's what Haslab website is saying, "currently", so if this is true, then he isn't the most sucessful Haslab and I find it kind of fishy that he would be the most sucessful given how obsure he is as a character, while Galatcus is more widely known

I feel they've been remarkably good at learning the right lessons from Haslab. They realized that Unicron was pushing it, even though it did get funded after the extension. They realized that putting the V-Lock Cannon in a separate tier was rude, even though it did get unlocked. Omega Prime was and possibly still is the most successful Transformers Haslab yet, but they didn't learn the lesson that they should stick to Optimus Primes for these things.

I beleive that was the total prior to the overseas numbers being added, so it's likely not the final total either

Well we'll see, give it a couple of days and we'll have the final numbers when all is put together, thou I get the feeling its not the most sucessful Haslab, but at least so far Transformers hasn't had a single completely failure unlike other brands that used HasLab, such as Star Wars which I think so far has only two failures, one born from not listening to fans and the other, a product that could of easily been retail, thou it would of likely just sat on shelves with a lot of other Star Wars stuff that hasn't sold due to Disney being bad caretakers and overstocking on stuff nobody likes!

It's 6 less than what it ended at last night. So maybe some last minute cancellations. But there still remains some international orders that have to be added. Whether they're 10,000 more or not.

cool to everyone who backed it

i had to pass because i misunderstood what the trustee said about when my increased income was happening so i didn't have the extra income to use it as my occasional 'big' purchase

I understand plans falling through. And the various alternates don't appeal. But at the same time, you're not falling into the trap of thinking you HAVE to have something to the point you sacrifice something you DO have to have to get it, if that makes any sense?

On that note, good news, I think. I didn't actually break the bone! I did twist it. I didn't even know that was a thing, so money is about to be further blown on an orthopedist, but I can still afford my car payment. Prius Prime may not transform, but I *can* climb inside and drive it around, which is a feature no HasLab has offered so far.

I'm glad this worked out well for everyone, and feel a bit jealous. Despite my distaste for the frame combiner bits, this seems like a great set, and it's likely to be a lot more fun than just one (or two) large fgures in the box. Especially since the count went up one with Deathcobra.

I'm just not able to spend on this at all, so I'm left to continue enjoying my We Have Liokaiser At Home release from Combiner Wars, and my custom Jallguarugargle and the custom Leozack I had to make myself after getting scammed by the guy I paid for a commissioned custom.
