Going back and forth between the Switch and PlayStation is the worst for that. I've never understood why most PlayStation games use X to confirm outside Japan, but O inside Japan. Throws me off every time I switch between consoles.

I'm slowly making my way through Zelda, might be getting close to the end.
I did the Deku section first, that dungeon was frustrating with the multiple entrances. Even with a map, I was getting lost/confused. I also had to go back to smaller rifts so I had enough energy to summon the thunder Wizzro for the boss. I tried with the little electric slimes, but that proved impossible.
The snow temple was fun. I was playing around and found a cheap shortcut way up the mountain. Someone else probably figured this out, but just in case: As soon as you're able to summon 2 platbooms, you can do this. Summon 1 platboom, and when it's the highest it can go, summon the 2nd platboom slightly on top of the 1st. Rinse and repeat. The next platbooms will treat the higher point as the start, but also have to go all the way to the ground before they go up again. It's a bit tedious, but def doable. After I reached Warp points, I ended up backtracking down the mountain for echoes/treasure.
Just beat Bomb Link in the Goron area. Way easier than I thought, I just sicced a Snow Wizzro and a mob bird on him, and watched from afar. Didn't even take any damage.

I beat the game yesterday. Missed out on one echo. I consulted a map to get the stamps, at least. I don't think I feel like mastering all the mini games and challenges for all the hearts and crystals, though.

I found a bit disappointing. Felt more like a supporting role. I wish I could've kept Link form, even if it was weaker or whatever.
Looking up the costumes, looks like I'll miss out on the green Link one. Not liking some of those dojo challenges.

All echoes gotten, all heart pieces gotten, all might crystals gotten, all accessories, all outfits. All side quests.
Yes I beat the stupid horse race stuff. Not sure why the horse is even in the game, it's pretty much pointless to ride.
Only possible thing I could do is some of the slumber dojo stuff for the 'fastest time' but since it's pretty much pointless, no thank you. Some of those were annoying enough.

The final boss kinda sucks. It's basically just "summon strong monster. Dodge" There isn't any real strategy to it. I also would have preferred if I could have kept the Link form somehow to do more. How cool would it have been if at some point you and Link are both in his form just wailing away at the boss?
As for the ending of the game itself? Kinda meh. Tri is like: "Hey I kinda get why you are sad, but this is how it has to be." And that's basically it. You just see some mild reactions to them returning and it fades to black, some maybe slightly amusing pics of stuff during the credits. All in all I wish they put a bit more effort or just SOMETHING extra there.

I varied up the strategy a bit. Sometimes you just want one of your strongest echoes. Other times it really does pay off more to swarm it with a bunch of weaker echoes.
In any case, I haven't really gone back to it since getting everything I aimed to get (all echoes and smoothie recipes). It's fun, but the muscle memory has a habit of messing me up when I go back to TotK.

So weird fact. Long ago I purchased the DLC for Breath of the Wild, but only did a couple of the Master Sword trials and then ended up shelving the game for other endeavors.
So I never did the final trials to fully unlock it. Was messing around with it and ended up looking up a guide to help me along and saw apparently the final is like 20 something floors?
I'm not sure this is worth it. Maybe I'll do the other DLC in the game before moving to Tears, but I think I'm done with these challenge floors. I mean maybe if the Master Sword didn't run out of energy after doing them, but far as I know. It still does that.

And then I tried playing Majora's Mask in front of him.
. . . . . to this day if he hears the opening chords of that intro, he has a visceral reaction. Nothing scared him more than that moon, leering down. Scared the absolute hug out of him.
So anyway, found this and put it up on the wall. Z sees it, looks at me and says, "yeah, I'm keeping an eye out for that damn moon"

I found out recently that it's been speculated that the reason the moon looks so angry isn't because it's an evil moon that's deliberately trying to destroy the world, but that it's angry because it's being forced down to destroy the world against its will, struggling and straining to fight back and resist the downward pull of the mask's magic being forced on it, meaning it's also another victim of the Majora's Mask.
This idea is based on the fact that the mayor of Clock Town has an ornament on the back of his office chair that looks like the very same moon but with a smiling happy expression on it, and based on certain comments of the townspeople saying how the moon's appearance looks unusually different than normal. While the latter could just be taken in regards to the fact that it has a face at all, at no point in the game does any NPC remark on that particular notion as being abnormal. If anything, the mayor's chair depicting the same moon with a happy face implies that it's supposed to have a face, and that what's different about it is its current expression of gritted-teeth anger.
With this idea in mind, looking up at that moon puts that angry face in a whole new perspective, one of sympathy and tragedy instead of outright fear and anxiety.
