We have a Scrounge! He even came with a free Computron for some reason.
I just felt he already had a relatively accurate toy with CW tbh.
I wasn't picking up on the "not done recently" element of your list, but while I don't agree that the CW version was especially accurate, I'm not sure an "accurate" Scrounge would be an especially interesting toy, either, so it's all good. Carry on.
Honestly, I'd still buy a comic accurate Scrounge that turned into a wheel. My comment really wasn't meant to be taken very seriously. The more obscure comic characters that make it into the line, the better.
That was me, as well. I really wanted Scrounge, as well as the new-mold hands and feet, but the UW version components otherwise tended to be better (I kept Hasbro's Afterburner, but otherwise only use the UW components).
I wanted to do that, just couldn’t justify the money. Although I could have sold the limbs I didn’t want.
I lucked out and managed to do that too; fortunately I only really wanted two of the Takara parts (Scattershot and Lightspeed) so that was easy to flip. Nosecone and Strafe were tricky to pick from, but I went with the original toy colors for Nosecone and I opted to let go of the Takara Strafe to have a better chance of selling the bunch. Besides, I liked how Hasbro's Strafe turned out well enough.
I hope we see more former Botcon/TFCC exclusives released in the relevant lines. Selects, SG, Velocitron, all of these have been great opportunities to get these in a more reasonably-priced manner Still getting steep, but I never would've imagined it'd be this comparatively easy. A lot of the original Shattered Glass stuff, Lifeline, Transmutate, G2 Ramjet, Skywasp, Scourge, Lift-Ticket, Burnout, Flamewar... hope we get SG Cyclonus and SG Rodimus/Hot Rod next.

Upon first read through, I assumed this was meant in a funny "sold a kidney" sort of way. Like, "I was barely using my left leg anyway. I can get $50 bucks for it on the black market and use that to buy more Transformers."
I just said in the idw thread that I have no desire for a Termagax toy, but after thinking about it more siege Ironhide with a new head and chest panel would be a pretty decent fit for her!
I have a sickos desire for every classic 84-85 character that constantly gets remade to have a standard lady repaint, and Termagax could work for Ironhide/Ratchet in general.

Crankcase is a partial retool of Skids, right? The Energon TowLine deco would basically be Skids deco, then, on the Skids retool.
Ironfist (or Fisitron), on the other hand would be visually distinct from both.
I am all for an Energon TowLine update, but if I had to pick one or the other, my vote would go to Ironfist.

I wasn’t saying I really wanted an Energon Towline. I just saw it and couldn’t unsee it. Honestly it would probably be a shelf warmer or be better off in a 4 pack like the Goldbug set out now.
