Other than his hips/pelvis are seemingly not quite wide enough, I think this guy looks great. They would need to do something very different for Hoist though. As was said before, some shared engineering and a couple truck parts.

Nice that they're finally doing him, but much like Trailbreaker - they were beat to market sooo long ago. I've had FT's Phoenix for five years now.

I've had Phoenix for a few years as well (my only 3rd party toy, bought when I was SURE TakTom would never do Skyfire), but I'm going to have to problem double-dipping on this. For my shelves, I'm predicting Phoenix will swap to jet mode and the official MP will take the robot mode slot. Can't wait for more pics in a few hours!

This is the least necessary Masterpiece yet. Siege is already big enough to look good enough in a Masterpiece display, and it already has ankle tilts, articulated hands with clever engineering to make them hold the weapons securely, and unnecessary Masterpiecey transformation details to make jet parts a different size in robot mode.

Siege is greebly for sure, but it's big enough to space out the greeble and not look cluttered.

Speaking of, Siege Jetfire blows that out of the water in everything save size and slavish Sunbow adherence.

Yeah. They absolutely nailed it, but it doesn't have the wow factor when we've already seen them nail it before on a Generations toy.

A very expensive Generations toy, but still cheaper than this.

Love that he can go VF-1S Strike Valkyrie. Recreation of the box art is great too.
