Cang TOys was that company making the weird gundam-esque Volcanicus. The aesthetic on top of the size made me pass on their release. They recently announced that all their releases will come out at their previous MP Scale, roughly Voyager-ish and Legends. Local store put up preorders for the Voyager stegosaur
Damn, It's actually cheaper than a Hasbro Voyager. I may actually be in for this despite the weird Gundam heads.

It comes to about $32 at our local stores. I guess shipping it across the world impacts the price. I don't like the designs for $100+ a pop but this cheaper size class appeals to me.

Why does Megatron keep mammaries on his shoulders?

In any case fixed the chipped weathering. Really hard to tell it was damaged.

I was reminded of a joke recently:

My wife asked why I got my CCW license.
I said, "for when the Decepticons attack."
She laughed.
I laughed.
The toaster laughed.
I shot the toaster.
It was a good day.

We'd probably have them by now if Generations stayed overwhelmingly G1 based, but Legacy changed the game. They were running out of G1 show characters, but now they're just scratching the surface of show characters.

Decided to look at stuff online to see if I wanted anything. MPG Ginrai doesn't look too bad. $140? Sounds reasonable.

Oh, it's $140 for the base robot only release. Jesus, $300 for the whole thing.

That much and it still has those goofy arms in trailer mode. No previous attempt at the design has managed to have that problem, so it's quite a feat.

The arms aren't so bad compared to the blue neckplate. At least they're supposed to be there even if they ideally should collapse down or something. The neck panel's just inexplicable and an eyesore. If you're charging $300 for the set, least you could do is hit the thing with an airbrush for a second

I'm kinda waiting to see how Godbomber turns out before I invest too much interest in this mold. Kinda hope it is better designed than the titans return combination.
