Oh, poor Sparky’s still exhausted from his kidnapping by Opaline…and he’s with Grandma Figgy…yeah, can’t see any way this could go wrong. Seriously, you leave the baby who you KNOW is being targeted by a supervillain with a senior citizen? I mean, there’s a pretty even chance Figgy’s secretly AMAZING, but still. But, if this is their way of writing Sparky out of the show…I’m okay with it.
Oh, this is the episode where we learn how everyone got their cutie marks. Better prepare myself, I don’t know if I’m prepared for even littler Pipp.
So…lil Sunny charged two ponies full price for HALF of what they originally ordered. A natural businesswoman! She introduced the concept of shrink-flation to Equestria!
I still want to know how cutie mark magic worked even though ALL magic was supposed to be sealed away in the Crystals at this time.
That yellow “eyeshadow” on lil Sunny sure does feel like a lot. I wish they’d tone it back a little.

LiL Zipp’s true talent is needlessly putting her life in danger.

And lil Hitch’s true talent is to be the only guy in a group of girls.
Izzy’s got a knack for storytelling. I think she’d make a natural fantasy novel writer.
The unicorns just left their trash in the middle of the road? Unicorns are gross count…1.
And lil Izzy’s true talent is to MacGuyver impossible things out of trash. Seriously, where is the water coming from for that fountain she made? Did she tap into the pipes below the road?
Which means that (lil) Misty’s true talent was to face down a force of evil! Kind of different than the others when you think about it.
Kind of convenient how the castle has a place big enough to park that flying bus of theirs.
Huh…the peagasi haven’t started re-controlling the weather again after they got their magic back? I wonder if they even remember they can do that?
Cloudpuff’s the idea dog around here. I’d be worried but as long as the Queen just listens to him about snack names, she’s probably FINE.
Hey, Misty’s getting her new hair color, neat. They FINALLY explain that! Honestly, the red and green didn’t look too bad on her, either.
And so, Opaline went on a epic three-part quest to find Gertrude the Manebrush. Only to find the manebrush was inside her all along…she ate it in her sleep.
The Queen’s showing baby videos of Pipp and ZIpp to their friends. Such a mom thing to do…is Queen Haven feeling okay?

“Everyone will know the truth about me..that I’m…SHY!” It took 4 seasons for Fluttershy to get this far. You’re doing pretty good by comparison.
This touching scene is kind of ruined by Zipp and Hitch’s outfits.
So many marble and gold statues. It’s pretty, but I wonder who dragged these things up the mountain before they got their flight back?
“This is one of the saplings I’ve been singing to…I MEAN NURTURING!” Heh…okay, I want to see more of Pipp the singing gardener.

I actually think this song is okay…but the autotuning is going strong.
Wait, did…did Misty never tell them that Opaline got out of her bubble? I kind of assumed they KNEW. Did they WANT her to starve to death in there?
I don’t know if I’d call Opaline “mysterious”, she WILL go on long monologues about herself if you give her half a chance.
And we get the version of Misty going undercover for THIS show.
Keeping a picture of her friends…somewhere on her…is probably going to backfire on her later.
