Seems Reddit will have equally as annoying auto-embeds as Twitter does. Almost makes it pointless to drop a pic in if the links are gonna show them again anyways.
Is it doing that? My computer isn't displaying any auto-embed.

I saw that too for the first second. That's how the link starts out before the auto-embed happens.
Firefox is up to date and I don't have any weird extensions that should be interfering with it. So it must be another quirk of my computer. It must not like auto-embeds.
Does that mean you can't see the Twitter auto-embeds either, Fnu? Or is just Reddit you can't see?
deviantArt links have auto-embeds as well, but those only display as thin banners with a small pic preview (sometimes with the pic distorted, depending on the pic dimensions.)

I don't get auto-embeds either, and twitter links just show up as an actual link that I have to click through (and then dismiss the Twitter pop-up telling me to log in).
I'm not getting any. Not twitter, not dA.
Weird. Guess that explains why you guys haven't been hiding the links as "insert links" like I do to avoid auto-embedding. Y'all ain't getting the auto-embeds like I am.

Maybe it's an antivirus thing. My computer is locked down pretty tight.
