Heh, I remember when that Arcee first came out and a bunch of nitpickers were mad that she wasn't her own new mold with the same Barbie doll proportions her cartoon model. "She's not feminine enough! She's too butch to be Arcee!" Bunch of ungrateful whiners. 🙄

She's a fine figure but I just never got around to getting my own.

As strange as it sounds given how controversial these toys are, I'm content with Arcee between ER and Studio Series '86. I don't think you're getting a better Arcee at retail unless they sell a Deluxe sized toy at like... a Voyager price point. And while they've done that before I'm not sure Arcee has the cache to make up for it like Hot Rod did.
So I'm happy with SS '86 and ER for their own strengths. Plus the whole Rebirth thing is kinda... I donno... not my bag. I'm a JG1 weeb.

I'm happy Headmaster Arcee finally exists for everyone who's wanted one though, and I'm with @Sabrblade. Anyone whining about it is being a tad entitled. You finally got the thing. Be happy.

I realized something today. For a long time The Fallen was a more 'modern' version of what Arcee used to be. That is, you had MAYBE one option that didn't fit with anything else (in Arcee's case a PVC figure, in the Fallen's case a Titanium) and other than that, it was just 3rd party or Toyhax/Kitbash 'roll your own'.

Times have changed and for The Fallen, it will probably be traumatic.

I just think the TR Blurr mold is ugly.
My opinion may not matter much since I still have that Universe Blurr repainted from Drift as my collection's Blurr but I prefer the TR Blurr mould to either the SS '86 version or Velocitron Legacy version.
Even then though, I like it more for other characters like Brainstorm, Nautica, and yes, even Arcee.

I just don't like Blurr's G1 design in general, but I do think the TR Blurr mould has proven its worth.

TR Blurr is the best looking to me, the 86 is ok but those arm panels are horrible to look at and Hasbro could of done something to make them look more appealing, by having them actually go over the lower arms instead of just hanging off and looking stupid

Really don't want to be tempted by this guy, but I have such a fondness for Vector and the UT in general that I'm surprised I've held off on this, Hot Shot, and Starscream so far. Plus he looks better and better in photos I see of him. Those leg covers (and reprolabels?) really do help a lot.

I may cave for a redeco, I'm not sure.

I was going to pass initially because I still have my Cybertron version of him, but I also decided to go all in on the Thirteen from AotP. So I figured I'd pick him up before the after market spiked his value.

He's not perfect but the ToyHax stickers and leg covers help a lot. I have the DNA upgrade kit coming too.

Then came the awkward day in the Star Wars Crossover Universe where the Clone Commander introduced their new Jedi Officer as "Mace Windu" and a Trooper yelled "YES SIR!" and sprayed him right in the eyes...

Edit: Speaking of itchy eyes-
