The Return of Op-t-pose Prime
Thanks to someone who I shall keep anonymous, unless they would like to be named, I just received a trailer to go with my new Legacy G1 Optimus Prime!
And so I decided to take a few pics.
Here he is hauling it like... well, like a trailer:
And here he is using it as a repair bay!
And finally, just for kicks, I thought I'd see if Scourge's trailer would fit, too.
I was hoping there would be a good way for the axe to store, but it doesn't really fit any of the peg holes due to the shape of the blade extending beneath the handle (hence his having it equipped in the second pic).
Also, I need to find a good (and preferably cheap) Roller to complete the set.
All in all, though, I'm loving it. It's like having G1 Optimus, only smaller! (And somehow still to G1 toy scale with guys like Legacy Blaster and SS Steeljaw.)

It seemed odd that they made it so much smaller than a proper G1 Prime, but it makes sense now. The Earthrise trailer fits too well.

It was such a missed opportunity for Hasbro to not just name that figure "Vehicon", as those soldiers were basically, conceptually, pre-Earth Prime Vehicons in all but name, and labeling them as such would have added just one more piece of shared creative DNA between WFC and Prime, which is what Hasbro was all-in for back when both WFC and Prime were still new.
In memory of the ex-President. I actually made this all the way back in 2007 when all I had was MS Paint and a very low quality digital camera.

This is one of the main reasons why I've come around to liking SS86 Bumblebee; it makes Goldbug feel like an upgrade then just "I got a new head"
I definitely get that, but I just enjoy the realistic alt mode stylings of the Netflix mould too much to make the switch. I get that the deformed VW Bug is actually both G1 toy and toon accurate, but I just don't care for it as much as a nicely done realistic version.
If we can get a Glyph and Red Bee redeco out of it, I will be satisfied with it. I echo the love for the more realistic altmode of the Netflix Bee, though. (Ought to do a photoshoot with 'Flixbee and my Super Gobot Bug Bite and compare the two...)
