Try folding the blast shields the opposite way, and make sure the peg at the front end is fit into the slot in the raised part correctly.

I can't speak for The Predaking, but another user on Seibertron just received his Galvatron from Pulse and it was the misassembled shoulders version.

Has anyone actually found a fixed shoulders version or are we still just hoping?

Some have found the fixed version, yes, so it's basically a free-for-all at retail.

I've yet to even see a Galvatron at my stores at all. At this rate, I'll probably just end up having to wait for the repack that's said to come in Legacy, which will hopefully have the correct shoulders by then.

When I found mine, there was one that was assembled correctly and one that was incorrectly assembled. From the same case mind you.
