Recently got some transformers out of storage
Fascinating to me that takaratomy foc Ultra Magnus's cab/upper body has turned straight up purple
In general my ultra magnus collection is pretty yellowed

Weird...I've never seen that happen before. "Shattered Glass before it was cool".
I assume it has something to do with it spending the last winter in a cardboard box in my aunts' garage
(my living situation has been a little screwy the last few years resulting in a lot of my stuff being stored in, uh, sub-optimial conditions)

As nuts as this sounds, if it's still structurally intact I'd keep it, as however it was done, you are highly unlikely to ever see another one like it again.

Angle is obscuring it.
There's something in the metallic paint that they used in that particular segment of Generations. The yellow/gold parts on my Kickback turned green and the Aerialbot shockwave repaint's bronze bits turned gold.Recently got some transformers out of storage

Don't have the packaging any more but it's the Deluxe FOC Shockwave retool (sorry, not repaint the chest and head are different) with a sword and named after one of the Aerialbots, can't remember which one.

Magnus got the mask for his Halloween costume out to try it on and scare the locals!
yup, was browsing mandarake just now and happened to see an Ultra Magnus that looks like it did the same thing as mine
