Ye Shockwave and Ratbat each got a turn leading the Decepticons in the Marvel run and Starscream was always Starscream.

Well, Cartoon Shockwave was too loyal to Megatron to be anything more than a Yes Man, while Cartoon Ratbat was just another one of Soundwave's pets, so...
Well, see, that's the thing: Starscream speaks for himself... except that he never really made any big moves or grabs for power or anything in the comics until after the movie had come out.
So, with the reference to the movie -- which was more of a cartoon-only thing, at least over here, despite having a comic adaptation -- it took me a minute to pick up on this basically mixing universes.
Oh no! Thundertron's pirates have taken Gears shuttle and are about to kidnap his beloved prize-winning Ro-mingo.

Looks like Thundertron is taking stock of his crew and its uninvited passangers, whom he likely to ransome off for a big score, their safety cannot be garanted!
When Soundwave preforms the shadow Clone, it goes slightly wrong and produces various alterative verisons of himself!
