I don’t know what it is about this guy, but ever since I got him, I haven’t been able to put him down.
Maybe it’s because of how balanced in complexity his transformation engineering is. Complex enough to be interesting, but simplistic enough to be sturdy.
Maybe it’s cus how completely it manages to homage and update his G1 toy. His update didn’t neuter any of his features from his original incarnation, which is really nice and can’t be said for many other WfC or Legacy figures. Also, of all the “Master” gimmicks that are making a comeback, the Targeaster one is by far my favorite because you don’t get a partial headless robot if you happen to misplace an accessory, it still transforms fully, and you get additional Transformers popping out of your bigger Transformer’s weapons and accessories, so you can’t go wrong there!
I mean, I don’t care much for his character (what usually drives me to own and obsess over a particular figure). I mean, not that his character is *bad* persay, just unremarkable to me.
But then again, ask my husband, and he will totally tell you that I myself am a fashionista, so…
“Hey, have you heard? Integrating the corpses of fleshlings into your weapons and mounting them onto your wings is all the rage!!”
Also, points to anyone who figures out what I’ve repurposed Orion Pax’s “fuel canister” into and why it’s cameo’ed in some of the other pics for Mr. Nose here.
