The reason these movies are flopping is because they’re Z-listers and sony wants to pretend they don’t need Spider-Man. Put Kraven, Vulture, Rhino, Scorpion, Big Wheel and Hypno Hustler in a movie with lots of Spider-man screen time, call it the Sinister Six and it’d do well probably despite them all being garbage characters.

These geniuses think that El Muerto deserves a solo movie. A character who’s shown up in like three issues of a throwaway comic.

(sighs), we finally got the tree out of the roof today, I was trying to set some lights up outside but I ran out of time and had to go to work, so I got a weird display that can only best be said to be a cross between a Chicken & a Deer, all I was attempting to do, is wrap the lights around the drain pipe but things just kept going wrong, but I'll sort it out in a few days, well, Monday as that is the day that I got off and have a LOT to do:
1: A bit of food shopping to tie me over the festive preiod
2: Sort out the outdoor lights
3: Finish the lighting for my Lego Nightmare Before Christmas model
4. Wrap gifts for the family

Personally, I'll be glad when this Christmas business is over and done with as the music is getting to me, last night when trying to sleep, I had Christmas music playing inside of my head, while trying to sleep and no I didn't have any actual music going but parts of songs are just sticking there to bug me!!

Mufasa was stupid, pointless garbage and the songs weren’t even good. It also has the prequel tendency to explain everything including things that dosn’t need explaining. Also the worst cliches to make the conflict between Mufasa and Scar. Wish I’d protested more when i was dragged to see it.

Can’t believe we have to wait till mid January for Sonic.

I'm planning to see Sonic on New Year's day, as that be my Birthday treat and its a movie that I do really want to see in cinemas as life got in the way of preventing me from seeing the previous films in cinemas

True. Honestly I've only been aware of that movie's existence for three days.

I just don’t get it. Mufasa’s only role in the story is to die as motivation for Simba. This is like making a movie about Batman’s parents or Uncle Ben. Nobody cares.

There's been enough written -- and enough not written -- about the Wayne family that DC could have a story if they wanted to. How did Thomas contract the services of a former British soldier of such professionalism (gentlemanly and otherwise)? Did he know about the Court of Owls? Was his death random, or was Chill hired to make it appear so? (I myself rather liked the replacement of Joe Chill with Jack Napier in the 1989 movie, though it's not been used anywhere else.)

(Hugo Blick as Jack Napier, a mob lieutenant with a taste for the theatrical. Pretty good at cards, too.)

If I had energy and an attention span anymore I could write an essay on why replacing Joe Chill with Jack Napier was a good move.

It works for the Burton movie but in everything else, I really don't like the idea since it lets us know about Joker's past. Joker doesn't have an origin. a secret identity or a past. He just is.
