I do most of my Youtubing on mobile. Does that change anything?
EDIT:
Well, I just found out that the anti-virus I use already has an ad-blocker. But it just seems to work on my web browser. Doesn't really do anything for my Youtube app. Suggestions?
It's a lousy situation all around. There's content creators I'd be willing to support by watching the ads, but the advertisers pushed things past the point of sanity. I'm not watching a 4 minute ad. I am definitely not watching two 4 minute ads in a row. There is a line between sponsoring content and vandalizing it.
I really just don't feel like subscribing to the premium Youtube thing though since they're the ones wh put those ads there in the first place. It feels like paying a ransom or rewarding bad behavior.
I don't watch on mobile very often so I just suck it up when I do. From my observation though, the local targeted ads are a lot shorter than the US-based ads.
Oh no. What ever shall we do? Fie on the fates that I should live to see such times. Woe! Woe to all that live in such a destitute world. Why must such thing happen!
Given the relative quality of ROTF which had the writer's strike and TLK which had the writers' room, it seems that the quality is independent of writers.
Hell, ROTF is more entertaining and internally consistent.
What happened to me? When I was a kid I had the patience to learn how to do things. Now, with the advantage of countless resources including full video tutorials, I burn out immediately.
