Who knows, but then his job is to be the pet!!
Monday is when Jon has to perform the weekly blood ritual keeping Garfield's eldritch horror nature in check, preventing Garfield from extinguishing the light of life and ushering in the Age of Emptiness that he so desperately craves.
My dog sometimes made fun of me for having to get up early on weekdays.

That's what the geckos are for. They also do pest control, but they're trainable and respect my space.
Laptop update: I was thinking about texting them today, asking if there's any updates on it and I didn't need to do that because he actually ended up calling me while I was in an Uber.
Unfortunately, no I still do not have my laptop fixed yet but I do appreciate him telling me exactly why it's taken so long:
They literally get their replacement parts direct from HP (or at the very least they use OEM replacements and not aftermarket ones) and one of the parts needed had been out of stock and he called me to let me know it finally came back in stock, so he was able to order it and it should be ready next Tuesday or Wednesday by the latest.
