On February 1st 1986, around 3:00 PM, TV38 was broadcasting an episode of the challenge of the gobots, but around the middle of the episode, the episode glitched and the screen turned black, it played once again but with soundtrack from the transformers, it turned black once again and an episode of that cartoon started playing before being cut, and then it resumed to challenge of the gobots once again. This only happened in very few areas on Arizona, it was speculated by the authorities that this was done just as a prank, considering the gobots and transformers’s well known rivalry at the time, but it is not confirmed if that is the case as the responsible for hijacking was not found
