(All of this is from the POV of the Mobile version of the site, I dont browse from a laptop)

When entering a thread I haven't been to in a while, I'm sent to the first page again. Not really a big deal as at the top of the page thres a "jump to new" button.

But if its a thread that doesn't have any new posts in it, I'm still sent to the first post on page 1. This isn't a nightmare or anything its just annoying to have to scroll to the bottom of the page to reach the "end of thread" link triangles.

Basically all I'm asking for is those "end of thread" and I guess "first post" links should be found at the top of the page too instead of at the bottom.

Thanks!

I just woke up so that might be a factor but I'm not sure I understand the question. Can you show me an example?

For instance, this thread has no new posts in it. When i click it from the thread list, Im sent to the very first post on page 1.

I must then scroll down to the bottom of the page to access this

What Im asking for is for this button (or any other page navigation buttons really) to be up at the top where "unwatch" is also.

Its not a huge hassle but its a minor annoyance that, theoretically, should be relatively easy to solve.

Oh yeah, I can kinda see that. It's all the same system but the formatting is determined by the width of the screen. If you have a tablet it looks like mobile but those icons exist in the top row. It goes away when the screen gets to a certain size presumably to prevent clutter.

I'll look and see if there's anything I can do to avoid that (or if it can do it without looking cluttered)

Actually while you're looking into it, maybe see if there's a way to disable the behavior in the first paragraph. It's annoying and pointless, and it's not just on mobile. And it's clearly default Xenforo behavior because another forum I'm on does it too. I had assumed maybe it just purges its last-post-visited records after a while to cut down on database clutter, but if the "Jump to new" link (that I didn't even realize existed until now) actually still works, it's clearly not that.
