Siege Alpha Strike and Phantom Strike sets getting re-released?

In my Gizmo-verse, Cassettes and Targetmasters are just different kinds of MiniCons. MiniCons were factory constructed by the Quints to enhance the primary robots. After the war to liberate Cybertron from the Quints, some of those MiniCons decide they no longer want to be an enhancement and prefer to enhance themselves. That's where I like to think bots like Slamdance would fit in.

As someone who has followed Skywarp auctions for probably 20 years, I'm seeing an influx of Siege Skywarp sets (loose and open) after this news. Most of them are still pricing them like the set isn't getting re-released in 7 months. Hoping to get those who may be unaware. One was almost $400.

That's not the single release from that five pack we want, John Hasbro!

If they're redoing some of the hard to find figures from that era, how about a Runabout/Runamuck 2-pack? Please, Hasbro?

That was my first thought upon hearing about this. I think Runabout might be one of the last remaining hard-to-get ones from that time they haven't found another rerelease venue for. Ah, and I guess Greenlight/Dazzlestrike.

They still need to re-release Skywarp and Thundercracker as well.
I remember hearing about these supposedly/seemingly getting rereleased years ago (around the time preorders were being taken for Omega Supreme and Jetfire), but that may have just been a specialty store taking orders for a belated allocation. Or whatever it was never pushed through. Either way, hopefully there's an opportunity for them soon too. Maybe even in SS86 (they have gotten Retro reissues in Movie-themed packaging), but only if they're not dead/dying/about to be reformatted.

Just start over with a new Seeker mold at this point. The ER mold isn't great.

I'd much rather see other seekers that are still missing get released with the molds they already have. Sunstorm and Bitstream (Siege mold to be consistent with the scene and Hotlink/Nacelle) and Slipstream (from ER, not Windblade) are the biggest ones I still want. Blackout to go with Cloudcover and Sandstorm would be fantastic. After them, I'd certainly be open to new characters too.

I was surprised when they said the Devastation Seeker was either a partial or recolor of Dirge and not a new mold.
I think people expecting a new Seeker mould are off base. ER seems suitable for Hasbro's needs.

The Reactive Starscream mould could be the basis of a redone Seeker but I suspect that mould- and the others from that line- are getting shoved in the vault forever.

I was surprised when they said the Devastation Seeker was either a partial or recolor of Dirge and not a new mold.
The Devastation Seekers look like Dirge with different colors, so why wouldn't they use the Dirge mold in different colors for the Devastation Seeker?
