Define "reasonable"? Because he'll be retailing for 2023 Titan prices, not 2016 Titan prices.
Still a "HE TELL ME" rumor at this point, but Entertainment Earth has a Drop Zone listing for September 12 that seems to offer some subtle hints pointing to a reissue of Fortress Maximus (References to "head", being an "encore of a classic" and being on a Tuesday).
There's also at least one site (Philippines-based specialty store that has typically not faffed around with fake listings) that has opened preorders for it.

It's cool and all that they're doing this. However, I am not buying another version of Fort Max until/unless it's a new mold. What they were able to do with the Metroplex mold (for the time) was pretty alright. But I would welcome a version that is planned from the beginning stages to be Fort Max first, and that cleans up much nicer in base / city modes.
I’ll believe it when BBTS puts up a preorder. They put one up for everything. I have one from last October for a $30 Kingdom Beast Megatron and one from a few months ago for Commander Class Motormaster. Every month the arrival date just keeps changing.
I agree. I think we would have gotten a proper Fort Max by now had Titans Return not come so early in the Titan class releases.
At the time it was a case of "How can we best make use of this Metroplex mold we created?" And someone said Fortress Maximus, as they could get at least three uses out of it then, G1, the Masterforce repaint and RID2001 Fortress Maximus, thou the RID2001 never came to pass but it was likely an option for them at the time!
Interesting that it's even on the table though.
I wish they'd do a Grand Max reissue, as I very much regret missing him when stores couldn't give him away. Not sure it's very likely though. I'm still very surprised there's not being a Metroplex reissue but I wonder if there are tooling availability issues.

I expect the molds are either beyond any further use or become an archor somewhere in Asia, if they not been melted down for recyling
