You see, this is the problem with having so much time between seasons and everyone blowing their load marathoning the whole season in less than a week. This is one of very few shows that I watch on Netflix and this thread was found on page 4!
Yeah, that was my big point in one of my spoiler tags above. Amazing how much conflict can be avoided if you just freaking talk!Just finished the season. It ended better than it started.
moral of the series: try talking things out first.
Kobra Kai
I had set it aside because of the fatigue of binging a season and then it's so long before the next batch that you forget where things left off. But then Karate Kid Legends came out and I just had to see how things wrapped up.
I have 5 episodes left of the last season. It's really ramping up.
Karate Kid: Legends
It was...okay. I own the 4K Bluray, so I'm sure I'll watch it again.
My main (and really only) complaint is that Ralph Macchio doesn't even come in until the 45 minute mark. Even after that, his is such a small part that you could cut it out completely and lose nothing.
Like, seriously, this guy is the OG Karate Kid and his part in this film is little more than a glorified extended cameo.
Still, it was entertaining. I'm glad I watched it. At the very least, it rekindled my desire to see Kobra Kai through to the end.
