Ironhide is pre-ordered. I'm trying to think, off the top of my head, who from the S1-2 Autobots hasn't been done in a Core or Legends class(granted, Core scale isn’t 1:1 with Legends, but they're close)? Sideswipe and Sunstreaker for sure, Wheeljack (though Prime Legion works well), and Inferno/Grapple? Who am I missing?

EDIT: Also, Core Blurr and Kup anytime, Hasbro.

I threw down for SS86 Snarl but am skipping Tinyhide, just as I skipped Lil' Ratchet. I'm sure they're cool and all, but I don't have a spot for them and I've already got enough iterations of both.

I was going to get a mini-Ratchet and turn him into Fixit, but then Deathsaurus happened, so now I will have Fixit anyway, albeit in the MOST EXPENSIVE way possible...that's also why I'm skipping quite a bit of things, really. But the Dinobots look awesome, and I do wonder how likely a box set will be later for Dinoking (or while I'm dreaming, a Selects release that costs too much but comes with simple organic dino shells to hold the robot dino modes, like a variation on the Beast Pretenders).

Yeah, I feel if they were doing shells they wouldn't have bothered with dinomodes. Wouldn't mind that swerve though.

Its why this set is top of my recent wants. Its wild.

Good thing Target is still pricing SS Core at $8.50. Rumble is small enough that it doesn’t feel like a total rip, but I might be a bit salty if I was paying Hasbro’s 11.99 MSRP on it.

I preordered both through Pulse but realized they were $7 cheaper through Amazon US. So I switched my preorder…

Why do I feel like I made a mistake?

Depends on if Amazon US is more reliable at shipping pre-ordered Transformers product out than Amazon UK is.

If it was Amazon UK the odds are you're never getting the item.

For the UK these days on Pre-order I tend to use In demand toys, they are a very reliable site, I had no troubles with them and you get free postage on orders over £50, of course, there is Kapow Toys as well, thou I'm less inclined to use them these days due to a bit of a change in regards to pre-order system a while ago, so I use them rarely, the last order was preordering upgrade, DNA for Victory Saber and Legacy TM2 Megatron

Yep. Despite doing most of my preordering from both Pulse and Amazon these days, I still do a healthy amount of preordering/shopping through BBTS. They're pretty darn great, IMO. Their customer service is top-notch and I think that Pulse, while good, could take a few pages out of the BBTS Customer Service Handbook. I'm excluding Amazon, because in my experience, it appears that they couldn't care less when it comes to customer service. They are fast and fairly reliable, sure; but CS is definitely not among their strengths.

I just wish BBTS would charge the sales tax when purchasing items upfront instead of holding off on charging it until shipping my Pile of Loot, adding it to the shipping cost that always makes it way more than just four bucks.

Yeah, I am a long-time BBTS customer and still support them when I can. They carry a lot of import figures and things that just can't be procured through the bigger outlets (I'm looking at you, Diaclone!). Admittedly though, I do preorder Transformer and G.I. Joe stuff through Hasbro when I can. However, if I miss the preorder window through them - which happens more than I care to admit - I generally reach for BBTS next.

Agreed. I usually go for Pulse first, since I paid to be a premium member so I might as well try to get my money's worth out of the free shipping. Anything that I miss out on from there, though, BBTS is my go-to. Always been very happy with their selection, service, and the Pile of Loot feature. Somehow, 1 box of multiple figures showing up occasionally gets me less side-eyes from the wife than the same amount of figures all arriving within a few days of each other in separate boxes.

I am fortunate that I have an arrangement with the wife. As long as its a TF that I really want, I can get it. I like that as over the years, I would try to complete the lines, and I have long since ran out of display space for everything. This weekend I might even start putting up more shelves in my office and start working on the pile of unopened TFs!

I might try my hand at painting a little detail on a toy for the first time, if it bugs me enough when Snarl is in hand.

The "bumps" on either side of his head in red just give him this inset head look in the pictures, but I realized they're sculpted there to evoke the golden parts of the animation version. A different color might help eliminate that sunken head look my eyes keep seeing in the photos.
