The feet are still complete garbage. At least the Jazz retool got THAT part right!
It is February 2024 and we've apparently just got a mass of Studio Series 2025 listings, including '86 Devastator (looking like a mix of deluxes and voyagers), several missing Bayverse characters, more concept characters, more War for Cybertron and a more TF One.

I suspect the Hatchet listed here is the one originally intended for the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line.
Anyway, Hatchet and Cue are definite purchases for me. Widow Maker...maybe, but I doubt the toy's gonna look anything like that concept art.

Also is that the Buzzyworthy exclusive Optimus Prime showing up in the mainline?
Curious to see what the new Devy looks like, though I doubt I'll spring for it. I finally recently bought the CW one, so even though this one will probably be better in ways, I can't imagine it would be better enough to justify replacing my current one.
My shot in the dark is a “anime colors/shading” repaint of the Deluxe G1 Prime that cropped up in listings for later this year for Legacy.
Yeah, I don’t have the space or, really, the budget…but there are a couple of characters I’m fond of. And once you get 2 or 3, why not just get the whole set, y’know?
Apelinq should be interesting. I wasn’t overly fond of the original SS Optimus Primal execution, but I’m interested to see what they end up doing with the character given we didn’t see a bot mode. TF4 Prime will be a welcome inclusion, but I’m already suspecting a “Primal situation” where the actual figure is only slightly more complex than a Voyager, but will come with some major accessories.
I’m excited for the listing for “TF6 Bumblebee”. Given it lacks the “PR” label, I’m highly hopeful that it’s a brand new mold, which more closely reflects the actual film model used for VW Bumblebee in that prequel. His Cybertronian and Jeep modes were pretty well done, and it would be a MAJOR a-hole decision to fart out ANOTHER 77 Camero retool after so many in recent memory.
With no open Leader spots…I can see them being a Commander class two pack with all the extra Devastator junk

I would love a Stinger redeco/retool, which this seems likely to be based on that TFWiki entry. Cool design and a mold that hasn't been used to death.
I'm generally up for more of the KSI designs from AOE. And now that we're getting into more offscreen/concept designs (we did have that DOTM Thundercracker early on, but we've come pretty far) I hope we get more. Those were always fun parts of the old movie lines (2007 Landmine, ROTF NEST Lockdown and Brawn, DOTM Darksteel, etc).
Also idly hoping that of all the Bumblebee redos, we might eventually get versions of the trilogy Camaro designs where the front wheels aren't in front of the doors in robot mode somehow. That's been my one complaint (after they fixed the clunker mold's roof issue) about that base design. So far the only take I've seen approach this was one of the ROTB ones.
We'll see, with me, I completely rejected the CW verison as he just didn't look right in my eyes and something was off about him and I also have my third party Devestator to fill the void.
I am very concerned about a new Devastator being good given how small SS deluxe budgets are at this point.
I'm looking forward to seeing it, combiners are my jam. Dunno if I'll buy it, but definitely looking forward to seeing it.
I'm cautiously curious about it, and apprehensive about the possibility of having to choose between the existing one and a new one. But I'm a little excited about it given the flexibility they have with this approach and what they've managed in the last few years.
