I'd welcome him as Bumper.
I always liked how the troops looked in WfC, the toy doesn't look half bad. I gotta get Steeljaw, they mentioned how most Steeljaw toys are just yellow Ravage's so I feel like I have to support a new mold.
(And maybe they can do a legacy RiD15 Steeljaw now?)

The Barricade mold’s not too good. Not buying it again for a fodder character.
Does springer have a separate sword and rotor or is that coloring an error? Either way not too big a difference from WFC but I could see myself buying one if only because my WFC Springer has a small but annoying QC problem with the tail.
Bee’s definitely got a Cliffjumper retool in the cards. Definitely getting this one though I wish the face was less grumpy.

He has a green sword he can form from his rotors, and also a separate silver sword based on the one he uses in the movie.
Both of which manage to be less convincing than the grey sword rotor the toy already came with somehow.
I am absolutely at a loss at why all of Springers accessories are chunked up and oversized like they're for Rescue Bots.
Now I'm wondering if 2 is enough. (what a surprise... right?)
That's dumb but I guess that's the only way to adhere to a medium that can't adhere to itself. Eh, guess I'll just paint the blades silver or gray since I'm already getting the brushes out for the chest vents. Still way better than the original's weirdass rotor/sword setup which, now that I think about it, may have been intentional to make this version more appealing.
Extremely stupid proposal, let's just reach back 10~ years and take the superior bladesword from T30 Springer.

The problem with that is that T30 Springer is using it. It's one of the best mainline molds ever released and I'm keeping him on display regardless of more G1 Springers.
I mean more in the vein of "hypothetically what if they did that for the release as a completely batshit pull" like when they pulled some rando weapons for that one Combiner Hunters set, rather than just swiping from the older Springer,
They theoretically could but it'd have to be some sort of separate release because Studio Series. I also gather it'd be less likely because it's made of several parts that come from different sprues on Springer's mold and IIRC pretty much all the bonus reused weapons are molded in one piece. Add to that, it might not be worth it to make a separate tooling like Universe Cyclonus' or T30 Scoop's Targetmasters because of how little potential reuse a rotor sword has.

I already did that then sold the stripped T30 Spriger and kept the far superior T30 Sandstorm
Yeah, hence the 'extremely stupid proposal' and 'completely batshit pull' qualifiers. Pipe dreams are nice, though.
Wait, Springer’s a Leader class toy? Screw that then. Not worth the price for slanted shoulders and a couple swords.

It's the worst use of a Leader slot since Shockwave. If we'd never seen the Voyager it's based on, I might have been fooled. It's a very good looking Springer. But it was already a good looking Voyager. This is absurd.
Give Springer the big cannon thing they pushed in the movie, or at least a bigger pile of crap so he can play Green Goblin like Shockwave.
