I can't help but think that if Bruticus were designed around vehicle scale, he'd have to form like Magnaboss.
I also imagine the rest of the team forcing Swindle to form the chestplate, where he gets shot at the most, as revenge for BOT. Swindle hates combining.

I'll keep my CW Devastator with the Toyhax cell-shade windows (the only labels I ever put on them) for now. Reason being, for all the justified complaints, they ARE really sturdy, and I have a nephew who is REALLY ramping up his Transformers interest, so it can't hurt to have something pretty crash-proof. CW Devestator's Tonka-like aspects are an advantage in this case. The new line will be much more posable and probably a better display piece but for my purposes I need a solid TOY...
I've preorderd the first two, but kind of expect to cancel them. This way I've got time to think about it.
On the one hand, I like Dev being the same size as all the other combiners. I could probably move Big Dev over to my MP shelf to offset my MP-sized Superion Combiner KO. On the third hand... I'm supposed to be getting out of this whole collecting thing at some point.

Yeah, what I distinctly remember, was people were annoyed that he 'too big' becuase he was about twice the size of all the other combiners. Even I still have issues with that, but otoh... Dude is damn impressive and feels "right" at that scale when displayed with most other regular non-combiner figures. The idealist in me would love for all Combiners to be Titan Class, but the realist in me hopes they dont ever do them in that size again due to money and space concerns.

Scrapper is 1 of 5 but Bonecrusher is 2 of 6 eh?
I'm guessing either a printing error or when the packing was desgined it was to establish the number of packs for forming big robot!
Scrapper, the leader of the Constructicons, is jealous of Hook forming the head of the combiner and likes to pretend he doesn't exist.
And then Bruticus would finally be an interesting toy again. I would buy that.
A to scale Bruticus would be Blastoff wearing the other Combaticons as accessories
Well, we already know Ultra Magnus is too big compared to anyone else.
This Devastator seems to be about the same relative size to the Dinobots that he was in TFTM.
So basically Menasor.
Menasor is more of clothing by size since the cars are roughly his sleeves and pants. Proper scale Blastoff could wear Swindle as a necklace. Maybe even a ring.
If I were Blast Off, I would NOT trust any O-ring sourced from Swindle...
Anyway, the answer to these Combiners being too small is obvious: Make everyone else smaller.
Just use forced perspective like in LOTR!
They tried that with the Dinobots and, well.
(I love them, especially with the 5mm connections, but my opinion is a distinct minority.)
