In the 90s you had

The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air
Sabrina The Teenage Witch

I name both of them because of the ugly and dark turn they took.

Peacock and Netflix both made this mistake.

There are also others that have gone the same ugly road I won't name for obvious reasons.

This is why shows made in the 90s need to be left as is.

I saw 5 minutes of Bel Air and dang. Talk about beyond ugly.

I won't go into it. It was going that badly.

Dark Sabrina was no help either as I watched half the first week in Netflix. Sabrina was way too dark.

Actually not.

The point of this being that sometimes it's better not to redo anything at all.

ABC and NBC in the 80s and 90s were more into family comedies.

Also CBS.

Anti Woke isn't the problem.

TV these days has changed in the last 40 years since the 80's drastically.

This new dark direction -

I would say let it be something new.

Leave what was be.

Marvel has been putting out new stuff not done before

Wanda Vision
Hawkey
Moon Knight

Marvel tries to let well enough alone and tries new heroes not before seen on screen.

New Sabrina was actually really great, but I did not like "dark" Archie (though I guess I don't like regular Archie either), "dark Teen Wolf etc.
