"E-Quip" - Autobot Armoured Combination Buildbot.
Armoured Combination Robot (Title).png

Apologies for double-dipping, but I bought the two combiners I briefly showed above, took some photos and found some YouTube reviews.

These toys were available at the "Daiso" discount shops in Japan (for ¥500 each). These are the same molds as a version available as a boxed set at Amazon, but with a few paint apps or tampos missing (such as the lack of silver paint of Fire King's cab-gun, the lack of the large symbol and "Titan" text on the back of Titan's cab and lack of faction symbols for all the bots). This could be due to pricing and/or avoiding anything even remotely similar to Autobot/Decepticon symbols in Japan (as it's officially sold by Daiso, who probably don't want Takara-Tomy breathing down their necks).

Also, although each team member has their own assigned number, they also have an additional "Robot Number" (from 9 - 13) which is in a different order to their primary designations ("03 - Fire King" is "Robot 09", for example).

Also, I noticed that the strange word that's printed on all of the robots ("dinba") is probably just "equip" upside-down (with the actual "e" looking like an "a" upside down).

To keep the post short, I'll use spoiler tags for each section.

Found these at Dollar Tree today, they share all but what's on back of the legs (and the colors), six different-ish vehicles. They have friction motors and auto-transform by running into a wall and then trying to shove through it. They actually work, too. Rescue Bots size, so I guess they can be troop builders for anyone still doing Rescue Bots/Classic Heroes toys.

LYB for Little Youth Brigade?

I think I found the same ones for sale in Japan. They were selling them for around $7-8 each. I think that's more expensive than the ones you found, right?

Yeah, mine were $1.25, and you can't blame that much on the exchange rate. Dollar Tree might be getting a knockoff of those. It looked too "regular item" to be like the Gundam models or Buzz Lightyear Hot Wheels they they had this year (or the BotBots singles they had a couple years back).

There are these shops in Japan which sell tat from other countries at really expensive prices. They mix cute Japanese things (girls accessories, lampshades and beauty products) with foreign stuff like the cheap toys or knock-off snacks. The "foreign/exotic" nature of them is presumably why they think they can charge such prices for them. Places like "Sony Plaza" in Japan, etc. The thing is, we even have ¥100 shops that sell stuff like this too, so there's really no excuses to see these for the prices they were charging.

A Tale of Two Tarns.png

OSKO Tarn just arrived. He seems to come with Bludgeon's sword too? It wasn't in the molded insert but rather just rattling around in the box. Perhaps they'll release an OSKO Bludgeon in the future too?

Got a link to OSKO Tarn? Gonna need that.

It's a few posts above, here. Click on his name above the picture. Hope you get one, it's a nice figure. At first, I thought it was too big, but I believe the original might be a tad too small? Also, I can still use the official figure as a (troop building) Decepticon supersoldier in my CHUG collection. The KO can now stand alongside POTP Overlord, Legacy Deathsaurus (barely), Legacy Armada Megatron and other larger Decepticon leader figures.

I'm not sure if this is new or not, but I just heard any a new (KO?) of Optimus Primal.

More pics and product info here.

Also, a new, chunky Optimus Prime KO is out, with a fairly intuitive and simple transformation.

And just in, a rather sumptuously painted OSKO of Bayverse The Fallen.

(Transformable KO Flame Toys Furai Action style Optimus Primal)

Google Translation/My Own Interpretation

"Dear friends, this time RT-01 Caesar (Caesar) coloring and product corrections:

- The antenna is too thick, which was raised by the friends last time.
- For posability, the shoulder of the product can be tilted forward, bent over, the knee can be moved, the knee is alloy joint, the hand and four fingers can be moved, the arms can be deformed to turn out the arm gun and the orangutan's mouth can be moved.

Product includes:
- x2 swords
- x2, the skull weapon
- x1 bonus face mask (possibly pre-order for 118 Yuan which is scheduled to include a mask with a humanoid face and/or "colouring price"..."

I think the price above isn't the full price, as it's awfully cheap (Around 20 USD)?

EDIT: - It seems that this is possibly a USKO, legends sized figure, so perhaps the original $20-ish price was correct?
