Here's one I can't identify. Was maybe KO'd from a Japanese toy line.

I've not been able to find any similar bots
Thanks for looking into it. I'll make up a name. :)

I finally got these. I first saw them in 2009 at the Hong Kong toy fair and they were only made for the export market (mainly Japan) so I could never get them here in China.

I'll try to think up a name for them as well. :)

Yes, they're still for sale in various shops in Japan. I've never gotten round to buying them (as In sure they're cheaper in China).

5 Below has more crappy Block Tech not-Transformers sets (now with instructions for robot and two different vehicles), all of which have ripoff copies of Optimus Prime's head. After the last set I got there, I wasn't gonna drop $5 on them, though.

WARNING: - DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

lol, yeah it's not 3rd party quality. but it's not that bad, although I see much worse KOs everyday in comparison. It wasn't aimed at the collectors market. Awesome novelty though.

I checked all the ones I sent for hands and matrix. No junkers so far.

I heard it's made in a little rat-streets factory and the dude hired all his relatives to make them ha.

I am curious, did Classics Starscream ever receive KOs from a "regular" (for the given value of the term) company? And do any photos survive of the packaging with figure names?

I believe the KO Classics Optimus Prime and Seeker molds were sold by/as "KOLD", at the (now defunct) "KOToys.com" website?
