That Skyhammer is inspired.
It makes me wish Fun Pub had thought of it.

I've always liked the Ultra Pretenders, and not just because I'll never own either one. In an era largely defined by Takara doing cool things we didn't get, they stand out as an interesting thing we got that had no Japanese equivalent.
And then they succumbed to GPS and now Hasbro is making Star Saber and Deathsaurus toys. Skyhammer and Roadblock are gone.

At least they had the fortune to bear names whose trademarks Hasbro so fervently wishes to never let go of. Their numerous successive namesakes have become their greatest legacy.
