Be nice to see what happens when Musk's stocks fail the same way. Only company he's involved directly with that seems to actually be doing well outside of stock prices is SpaceX. The company formerly known as Twitter is slowly dying and Tesla can't even make a pickup truck that doesn't fall apart if you look at it funny.

Musk does not have any actual authority. He was NOT vetted by Congress and thus should not be allowed near ANY government database and his "department" isn't part of the US government. Only congress can legitimize DOGE and so far they have not. The treasury department should have stood their ground and frankly there should have been a court injunction at this point to stop the whole illegal DOGE nonsense. Frankly Musk and his lackeys should have been arrested for trying to interfere with official government agencies without being a member of said organizations and Trump should be impeached for a 3rd time for letting him do it.
