So we're getting an updated rerelease of the 2019 G1 score, AND we're getting not one, but TWO Beast Era soundtracks this year!
Also some collab earbuds from JLab.

Looking forward to booking some time to soak in this. And of course the Beast Wars one will be great to hear.

Hm. Ten tracks but the official press release says 11. Is track 10 like two tracks in one?

Beast Machines was the right one to start these with. That soundtrack slaps (especially if you are a fan of industrial music). I did make my own Apple Music playlist so I could add Phat Planet as the first track. It felt incomplete without it.

I've bought several soundtracks lately. Most of them were digital downloads. Some of them were actual CDs. Clearly both of these are things that it is still possible to do and that other companies think is worth the time and effort of offering.

It would be cool to include the "evolution revolution" music video promo they made for Beast Machines, as well.

Aw man, they used the wrong opening theme. The one in this playlist is the shortened version for the Power Block airings of Season 1, which cut the theme song length in half.

I haven't had a chance to sit down with all this, but the titles seem to indicate it's all season 1 stuff? I hope there's a chance for a follow-up soon with the Western showdown music and Silverbolt's heroic fanfare.

After listening to it, I am not that impressed; but to be fair, the only BW music I have ever actually noticed in an episode was at the climax of The Agenda: Part 3.

As with most things Beast Wars, I prefer Beast Machines.

They so badly need to open the door to fans... But at least BW and BM don't suffer from same issue season 1 G1 stuff does - missing entire halves and endings... and they keep on putting that demo version of the theme song...
