Definitely not a Tarn retool, though funnily enough, the transformation looks to be really similar to the overused Siege Megatron.

So instead of giving us a dedicated Star Convoy, they're instead giving us yet another compromised design.
It seems very odd that he'd otherwise be a very faithful Star Convoy, but with a PMOP torso. I'll wait to actually see the toy, rather than make any conclusions based on some blurry box art. We've certainly seen plenty of cases of box art not being all that representative of the actual product, even when it's the art for the character in the box.
I don't have access to my Legacy Vector Prime at the moment. Does he have his PotP symbol anywhere on him like Megatronus does? I don't recall seeing it anywhere. Between that and how Megatronus pulls in influences from his other versions, it makes me wonder if Legacy VP really is just an early AotP VP, or if there might be something else in the works for 2026. I mean, it could just be the lamest possible thing: a repackaged Legacy VP with a PotP symbol paint op added (probably replacing an existing paint op or two at that). I'd be game for HasTak having another go at him though. Maybe pull in some more gold and a second sword from his other versions.
why is it a Titan?
They’re just about out of marketable extra big characters is my guess. Probably saving the geewun Metroplex remake for later.
It was a theatrical movie, thank you very much!"Generic monster dude jobber from an OVA of a series never officially released outside of Japan! Only $200+tax!"
