It's that time of year again.

Voting for the Transformers Hall of Fame 2023 has opened up. Voting closes on September 17, and the winner will be announced on the 22nd in a Hasbro Pulse livestream.

This year, the categories are:

"Favorite Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2001 cartoon series) character"

And

"Legacy: Evolution toy of the year"

Well, I suspect that the first vote will be a formality, but we'll see. Cast a ballot, first time I've had the opportunity to do so.

I wonder what they'll do if RID01 Optimus Prime wins.

But I'm sure Sky-Byte will win. His next toy is probably being prototyped already.

The thing is, the Hall of Fame has never guaranteed a new toy for the winner. The only fan polls that have resulted in new toys have been the non-Hall of Fame ones, like the ones that yielded Windblade, Victorion, Titan Trypticon, some of the Vintage G1 reissues, etc.

I'd rather have a new X-Brawn, but it'll never happen.

Not sure how I'd feel about a new RID Prime. On the one hand, no splitting rubber tires and easily-worn chrome chest. On the other, there's no way a modern toy would manage the parts count to recapture the feel of the old one.

I wanted to select a bunch of RID2001 characters, but in the end I went with Railracer!

For Legacy, I voted Armada OP

Legacy Armada Prime has given me a lot of confidence in what they can do for Primes with super modes.

I do suspect that Kelly will get a substantial (and sympathetic) runner-up vote.

If they did her as a toy, it likely come with a red sports car that doesn't transform or with X-brawn, who would drop her out of the vehicle, the sports car is for you know who! 😁

Oh, hey, a Hall of Fame theme Sky-Byte is actually eligible for!
I gave up making these banners years ago (the Hall of Fame really just isn't what it once was), but this old one is relevant.

I never watched RiD so I'll null vote with Kelly. Toy of the year is going to just be everyone going for Armada Prime, but I'm casting my vote for Shrpanel-- I just like his shapes.

So it's definitely gonna be Sky-Byte and Armada Prime right? I haven't even opened the latter yet and was tempted to cast my vote for him. Maybe Nemesis will get a good chunk of votes but I can't see her winning.

Voted for Sky-Byte, the RiD character who has had the biggest impact on the franchise.

Voted for Tarn. It was a toss-up betweem him or the Nemesis, but I went with Tarn because I want to encourage incredibly good recreations of an existing design.

You should, its a fun series, its not to be taken to seriously, its got a lot of likeable characters who are very memorable!!

Thought that was Scourge.
But it was Copy Convoy who started the Nemesis Prime trend.

Or, arguably Onyx Primal, even though his deco was different.
