Well, we can quibble about neck or mouth, but irrespective I think it's pretty core to how his head looks and I don't think the IDW2 head giving him a mouth hit the mark.
Takara has just released their "latest" (sic) TFs, including Armada Prime. It came in an additional slip case, which looks like the original Armada Prime boxart, I think.

I didn't know that we can store the (kind of redundant, IMO) base mode missile launcher on his back, rather than on his bum/skirt.
I'm not sure why the combined super-mode came with yellow eyes, when the show (and original toy?) had red eyes so I gave him a pair of them.
And I'm sure most of us here have already seen comparison pics, but here are some if you've not.

That third party one looks worse every time I see it.
It looks like they designed it in 2012 and shelved it out of shame, and threw it out there one day because they were out of ideas.

The 3P one's super mode shoulder pads are just...you know that shoulder pads are supposed to go OVER the shoulders right and not be floating above them?
Might've overdone it on torso day, though.
And it’s not even showing the best parts! I absolutely adore the chains inside the chest and the clusterhug it looks like from behind.
I've watched a few transformation videos and I still don't understand what problem they thought they were solving with the chains.
The same one HasTak solved with two hinges.
We need to respect HasTak more. They make this look easy, but apparently it's not.
The original Armada toy did the exact same thing. The 3P was just trying way too hard to reinvent the wheel.
Isn't that the same with most 3P and even some official MP TFs?

Indeed. It’s just a shame that when they swing and miss. More often then not, they miss by a mile.
As to the Straxus reveal. The IDW style Straxus is…fine I guess. I;ll be honest, that like, like the IDW1 pre empurata Shockwave are interesting looks, but not very distinctive. The ‘head in a jar’ Krang look ends up looking like what is, a frankensteinian mess of parts around a head. Personally, I’d rather have a Straxus who looks like Straxus.
