Beyond Lugnut Supreme, the only Animated character I would want in Legacy is Shockwave/Longarm Prime since it was a unique take on the character. Sure we've had Punch/Counterpunch, Skyfire and Doubledealer but that was a neat take on a classic character.

I was honestly surprised that the Ark didn't also become a stealth-homage to Animated Omega, and I would not find it odd if it became one for a convention exclusive or something, with a remolded head and hand and a 'toy colors' Mainframe. It's the sort of thing that would have been a pre-pandemic SDCC thing or a PulseCon Selects sort of item.

An Ark remold into Animated Omega Supreme will satisfy absolutely no one.

It’s a Cybertron Brakedown GTS as G1 Kup level homage of a $180 Titan in 80% the same deco that didn’t even sell that well to begin with.

We’re more likely to get a Commander Class Wheelie.

Needlenose was featured in the Marvel comic (and in IDW), but he came out the year after the last characters to appear in the G1 cartoon. And, the butt of the Ark was in practically every episode of the first 2 seasons of the G1 cartoon. It should have some recognition, even among more casual fans. Should it have been a playset instead of having a robot mode? Probably, but this is the figure we got.

Honestly, the only Titan class I ever got was Trypticon, because it was $50 at a Ross. If I found an Ark for that kind of money, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. It doesn't matter to me how good the figure is or isn't, but there are certain price thresholds I just can't cross anymore.

Because he just became a character. Nobody has any connection to him. That’s why a character like Needlenose gets more excitement even though he hasn’t been in a cartoon since G1 (if he was even actually in the show).
No, I meant structurally and design-wise.

Although I thought the Ark seemed to cost more for less features than, say, Scorponok, I immediately pre-ordered it because, well, it's the Ark, which is one of the most famous spaceships in the whole TF mythos.

Die-cast construction too.

I’m still looking for Pointblank and Leo Prime/Convoy, whatever they are calling him. I found Armada Starscream and snatched him up. Still missing 2 limbs of Menasor and Motormaster.

I still need two limbs and a body for Menasor.
