Which would be the first time cultural appropriation has ever been described as "brave".
Thus proving that "has been described as" is not commutative, since the Braves have definitely been described as cultural appropriation.

In "fairly unimportant but amusing" news, @cybertronearth on Instagram has posted pictures of Transformers 1 Lunchables. That isn't that interesting, really, but what IS amazing is that they created Orion Pax and D-16 "robots" out of Lunchables parts, with instructions to soon be on the official Lunchables website:

If we don't get Oreo-n Pax and Ham-o-tron as Leader Class toys in Legacy, then I say we burn the whole thing to the ground!

So, as usual, there's going to be crappy childrens costumes for Transformers One:that's not news. Someone found them on target's website.

What IS news is that the Prime costume is shown with a matrix that specifically listed as "Sold seperately." Someone tracked it down on the manufacturers website.

So finally, after 40 damn years, Transformers One has finally delivered on something I've wanted for ages.

Definitely looks like cheap plastic, but until Hasbro decides to do their a Studio Series matrix, this will have to do.

Preorders are up for Brave Commander Optimus Prime…and it’s $80?! EIGHTY?!

I’m sorry, but I don’t “see” $80 worth of toy there. It’s nice, but not THAT nice. Certainly not compared to the joys found in Leader Optimus Primal.
I kind of wonder if, knowing this will get imported by Hasbro, TakaraTomy didn’t skew this offering a little “older” than Primal. Articulated fingers, seemingly a good bit of paint, unobtrusive gimmicks…it doesn’t feel as much of a compelling toy and more of a “quick/cheap collector item”.

It might be cheap kid's Halloween costume level of construction, but it still looks pretty dang good. And I'm guessing that the price will actually be pretty reasonable if it's intended function is to be used once as part of a costume.

What's even worse: Pulse has it labelled a "Leader Class" toy.

In and of itself, that doesn’t mean much. Hasbro has listed other, oddball, imports as “Leader class” to denote larger or pricier items in the past. And the figure will be of comparable size to most Leader figures, which is an easy “catch all” term to differentiate it from the myriad of other Orion Pax/Optimus Prime toys that will be available this fall. They did the same with Beast Awakening Optimus Primal last year.

I feel like I'm Hot Rod because it seems like nobody else notices the Matrix has finger holes you're supposed to use.

This one doesn't!

It actually would be pretty funny if there wasn't anything special about Hot Rod, it was just that he was the only one to ever unlock the Matrix because he actually was holding it properly. Everyone else was just "pulling on the push-to-open door".

They've even used the "Masterpiece" label for Takara items that are definitely not MPs.

Hot Rod technically opens it without the finger holes at first; it's not until after he gets upgraded, defeats galvatron and picks the matrix back up that he puts his fingers in the holes.

He didn't actually open it when he became Rodimus. It just glowed when he grabbed onto it and its light turned him into Rodimus without opening up. He only first opened it to destroy Unicron afterward.

I guess I always figured he cracked it open at first.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's some sort of toy safety law that means it's not a good idea to have all those open finger holes...

And no, I don't think there's any way to type that which doesn't sound dirty.

If this was a response to Dake, how many of those were toys or meant for kids?

If this is a response to Blot, well, carry on.
