Yeah, I guess it IS what he looks like in the cartoon, but if you had asked me a while back, I would have sworn he was purple/black/yellow. It's definitely a Mandela Effect sort of situation.

He was and he wasn't. That part of his body changed colors whenever he transformed. In bug mode, it was purple. In robot mode, it was gray.

Guess this means they have to bring back the old Color Changers gimmick from Generation 2 in order to give us a completely accurate Bombshell.

I feel they should have prioritized bug mode show-accuracy over robot mode show-accuracy tbh.

If this line lasts long enough, you know they'll sell us another one that prioritizes bug mode.

Yeah, every previous reissue of this mold already did the purple version. There's plenty of options out there for those who want purple.

I feel like the Retro Generations line is set to be this line's replacement for next year, based on how Walmart's recent reissue sublines have alternated with 1980s-themed sublines of modern figures.

2018-2020: Vintage G1
2020: Retro Headmasters
2021-2023: Vintage Beast Wars
2023-2024: Transformers Retro
2025?: Retro Generations

I have both of these, so I will pass unless I stumble upon it on clearance or something.

I would hope we’d at least get toon versions of the remaining molds we know they have. Which are

-Jazz
-Prowl
-Skids
-Tracks
-Smokescreen
-Sideswipe
-Inferno
-Grapple
-Astrotrain
-Blitzwing
-Kup
-Ultra Magnus (definitely want in toon colors)
-Ironhide
-Ratchet
-Red Alert (definitely want in toon colors)
-Sky Lynx
-Metroplex
-Omega Supreme
-Trailbreaker
-Hoist
-Dirge
-Ramjet
-Thrust

...It's a subline. Walmart's not gonna carry all of those and treat it like a main line.

2018: 7 releases for Vintage G1
2019: 7 more releases for Vintage G1 (plus 1 release exclusive to Hasbro Pulse)
2020: 1 release for Vintage G1, 7 releases for Retro Headmasters
2021: 4 releases for Vintage Beast Wars
2022: 7 more releases for Vintage Beast Wars
2023: 1 more release for Vintage Beast Wars, 8 releases for Transformers Retro
2024: 4 releases for Transformers Retro

And the majority of these Retro releases never even made it to stores.

Kup , Astrotrain , Red alert and Devastator being on the top of my list . But sadly it feels like this line might be over with . Hope I’m wrong
