So, if you buy from Ebay, like I do, get a lot of third party or other toys from there, you are also out of luck. USPS has announced there is a "temporary" service interruption where they are not accepting packages from Hong Kong or China. No reason given, no stop date given.

DHL is reportedly still shipping, but you gotta pay the tariff before they'll deliver it to you, which is hitting people who had tightly budgeted their Chinese toy purchases and don't have room to drop an extra 10% on short notice.

Not just toy buyers. I have, on occasion, bought parts in bulk from Chinese suppliers to use in my electronics hobby. Last one was a batch of shift registers.

This is oddly timed given Chinese New Year closings just ended. Gonna cross my fingers and hope that this gets cleared up soon.

Oh, there's a "reason". A very stupid reason.

That being said, it's been lifted for now, but you'll presumably have to pay the tariff when you pick it up.
