Two eps at a time. Titles kinda spoil, sorta?

Ep1 - I have a feeling they couldn't get Rocket but the replacement is pretty awesome. Pretty good.

Ep2 - looooooved it. Too easy with the human connection but still loved it.

Ep3 - totally die hard, haha. They even referenced it, haha. Sparrow whoever is really cool too. Bring her back!

Edit

Ep4 - some parts cool, some parts I loathe.

Ep5 - Holy cow the ending. Great ep for marvel fans.

Edit again

Ep6 - who the hex is this person?

Ep7 - loving this one! My favorite!

Edit final time

Ep8 - pretty good. Loved how they animated some of the guys to look like their movie actors.

Ep9 - just a huge fight but pretty good

No one is seriously checking What If s2 out? It was pretty awesome, for a Marvel fan. A friend of mine called it one of the best things he enjoyed in 2023.

Nah, I figure that was intentional, given almost none of Nebula's group was a pre-existing MCU GotG.

Ep6 - who the hex is this person?
New character, happens from time to time. That's how we got Mayday Parker after all, she started in a What If before getting her own series.
Oh and fun note, if you couldn't tell form the subtitles: almost the entire episode's dialogue was in the Iroquois language, apart from the bits in old Spanish and the 4 seconds of English at the end.

Ep7 - loving this one! My favorite!
Also my favourite. Actually wouldn't mind seeing more of this timeline

As for ep 9, that final view at the end was apparently a last-minute change, but I think it was a good one to link things together.

I enjoyed this season of What If, but I think as a story, the first season was better.

Nice! I am a bit bummed that they said that this was the last season of What If though.

Seen up to ep 5.

Have to say the Eternals was the best ep for me. The chemistry was great! Though Kingo didn't show much of himself in the movie, I just went with Kumail Nanjiani's personality.

Winter Soldier was next best for me, even though it had a bad ending.

Darcy ep was a weird plot but I thought the Mcguffin would be an established thing in Marvel, like the Phoenix reborn or something.

I had to laugh at myself today trying to think who was this bird woman in Carter's team. When the answer was just a few episode before :D I'm eager to see how they end it.

Also
the other Watchers called Peggy's team Exiles! SQUEEEEEEEEEE!

Saw the last eps. They used that term for the team? I must have missed it.

The finale was just action. Wasn't wild about it. Best ep for me was still the Eternals ep.

Season 3 is certainly the weakest, but I don't think its bad. The change in EPs is evident.

I agree the best episode by far is Agath does Hallywood. That's easily on par with the really good episode of the past two seasons.

Also of all the universes to return to, I never thought we'd get a follow up to Party Thor. Even if its a complete what the hell episode.

I also really liked the Red Guardian and Shang-Chi episodes.

Love that they got X97's Storm to voice her here; she's still my favorite version of the character. And it was amazing seeing her here, and loved that they even used the motif of her theme song and X-men theme during his big action scene in the final episodes. Would have been nice for her to actually get an origin episode though.

The only two I really didn't like were the Mechavengers one and the Ironheart one. I would have expected Riri to end up on the Exiles, possibly in place of them using an Infinity Ultron; but it never comes and it feels like it should have since that's when Uatu really breaks his oath. Would have been a nice circle to have her help him in return. I would gladly trade either of these episodes for a What If Storm episode.

Yeah, the Hollywood and Red Guardian eps were the best of the season for me.

Funny but the Hela redemption ep was my fave from the previous season too. I guess the bad guys turning to good guys is a trope I really enjoy.

USSR: We'll make our own Captain America!
Red Guardian: (is a combat machine but also a loveable goofball who believes 10000% in the ideals of his country ESPECIALLY when his government doesn't, and barely finishes fighting Bucky Barnes before bonding with the man)
USSR: Oh crap, we made our own Captain America.

Also, the "Rook" codename was a bit of a deep cut, as when the guy first showed up in comics, he employed power armored goons with a chess motif.

Anyway, I liked that the season arc was light, and focused on the personal rather than the Multiverse In Peril. The multiversal teamup was to save a friend, not save reality.
