Everything we ever needed to know about Republicans, we learned from their "Happy Holidays" brouhaha. They honestly believed that it was somehow a "war" against them to lump them in with other religions instead of singling them out for special recognition.

That's a truly unreal level of entitlement. If someone feels persecuted because you didn't single him out for special recognition, it's going to be impossible to keep him happy, short of enslaving yourself to his wishes.
