I got the dubs of Gatchaman one year in the 00s and watched them all (105 episodes!) over the course of a few weeks. That's probably the most I've watched of a single anime in one year.

That's more just asking "What long-running anime have you watched?" as a majority of them end after 13, 26, or 52 or so episodes. The only one I can think of that lasted over a year that I watched more often than weekly was the original Saint Seiya. After I watched Saint Seiya Omega, I wanted to see the story from before to get eh background I missed and that it didn't cover.

I think for me, it would be One piece, thou that was quite a few years ago now, as I went from dub to sub to catch up with the story and for the most part, I watch every new release on a weekly basis, thou not always upon the day of release!

Indigo League went into 2nd series.

Dragon Ball GT was long too having added the lost episodes so I got to see those. Not aired in the USA previously
BTW.

I mean, I watch my anime in collected DVD's. So with maybe a few exceptions, I couldn't say which ones originally aired over the course of a single year. So I guess here's a list of some of what I've watched

Ghost in the Shell SAC 1 and 2

Escaflowne

Trigun

Elfin Lied

Pokemon Indigo League

Street Fighter 2 V

Neon Genesis Evangelion

Rosario + Vampire first season

Well once I watch up to Pocket Monsters Ultra Legends (US Dub) Pokemon will be the longest anime I've seen.

Sailor Moon is to be my second longest with 200 episodes. Of this I watched Series I and Sailor Stars so far.

Unless I can catch up Yu GI Oh.

Longest series I've ever seen is DBZ. Far as I know I've seen all 291 episodes, including the ones skipped during Gohan's training with Piccolo as Toonami did air them once.

Second would be Sailor Moon, though given I like the DiC dub for the early episodes, there are a small handful of those I've never actually seen. So I've only seen maybe 195 of those. Not including some rare episodes like that one for an obscure VHS player phone toy.

Otherwise I think most of the anime I've seen that's long caps at like 70 episodes at the most. I know I've seen a lot of shows like InuYasha, Naruto, and Bleach, but I ended up stopping all of them for various reasons. Long before I likely got to 100 eps in.

As for a long show I watched all of in just one year. Probably Monster when Sci Fi did ani-monday's. Assuming it was all in one year and not something like it began in October and went till April or something. I can't remember.

Well I bought the DVD for up to Ultra Legends.

I finished the episodes I missed before Boomerang got Pokemon.

After I finish Master Quest it's a matter of resume from Advanced Challenge on DVD.

Pokemon TV is behind Netflix for new episodes so I try to hang back. I started Master Journeys but will wait till they post Ultimate Journeys to finish Gen 8.

Only 12 of them are up at the moment.

On DVD I'm watching Jhoto Journeys. I finished Orange Islands on Pokemon TV. Saw the last 10 episodes on Boomerang in 2010.

The big significant ones I can remember were mainlining the first two series of JJBA in a week in a depressive funk (74 total episodes), and while I don't remember the exact timeframe, there was the 2011 Hunter x Hunter series (148 episodes), but I know that was also in a concerningly short period for the amount of content.
