I was more into Mark Kelly, but I understand not wanting to put his seat up.
Still, not a bad choice overall.

A few couple interesting things about him:
  • Apparently he served in the Army National Guard for 25 years as -enlisted-. Not even an officer, mustang or otherwise.
  • He's the first Dem VP pick since 1964 that hasn't gone to law school

And he's only 60. If Harris serves two terms, he'll likely run for president in 2032 and still be under 70.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

Ah man, what a burn. I think that's about the classiest way to call someone a couch fucker.

Bout friggin time the Democrats are going after the sheer absurdity of what the Republicans have become under Trumpism.

You know, this is shaping up to be an absolutely wild election year. My whole life I'd read in the history books about things like presidents dropping their old vice presidents and getting new running mates, ex-presidents losing elections but then running again afterward, and presidents choosing not to run for reelection, but I'd never gotten to see any of them with my own eyes. Now, in a single year, we've gotten to see all three.
