(Retconned to avoid post count and end this post positively. "Like" for this post was for the original and final news article, rather than the one below)

Making good of a bad situation?

And now, some positive news for university students in the UK (including a sizeable amount of LGBQT+ students)

Gee, it's almost as if integrating celebrity worship directly into your video game is a stupid and terrible idea. But then again, everything about Call of Duty and the company behind it has been stupid and terrible for a long time at this point.

Something nice and uplifting! Top places in San Fran!

And in South Korea, the police and court support the LGBQT+ organisers over the mayor/local government.

Meanwhile, the Austrian police foiled an attempt to stop a Pride rally.

And here's a short clip of a Pride march in Poland, supported by a local mayor and the mayor of Paris.

Relatedly, a British mayor just lost his position for attending a Pride event, but then "apologised" for attending it (due to feelings of "regret" due to "religious beliefs").

What's interesting here is that even other Conservative members (the British equivalent to Republicans) called him out on backing down for his support for the event, it would seem?

Japan has done little or nothing to dissuade the world that it's only old, Japanese men that shpuld be catered for, in some articles that affect all genders...

And for people of all genders, look what the Japanese government did to many of them (and unlike other countries, is largely unapologetic for) :

They realized they've mostly lost the battle against the LGB part of the population so the are targeting the smaller T part in an attempt to regain some ground. Gonna be rough untill they lose that battle too.

A small step in the right direction in Japan.

And some sad news of the death of a trans celebrity in Japan.

British schools are still waiting for guidelines in order to help LGBQT+ pupils...

...but at least the government apologised for previously treating some of the community badly....

Some nice news about Alan Turing in the UK.

Meanwhile, in Japan, it's the first time "outing" has been legally seen as a workplace "injury".

Some nice news, about the Netflix show "Heartstopper"

British rowing has updated its policy regarding transgender women athletes. The story seems a bit of mixed bag, as this isn't a straight ban entirely and it seems the decision was made in consultation with British LGBQT+ and female organisations? I'm sure that doesn't mean they necessarily fully agreed with the decision though?

And a nice video about disabled drag queens in Wales:
