At TFW they think Lockdown's hips look fine. Their commitment to wrongness is almost admirable.

The hips wouldn't be so bad if his waist wasn't skeletal and the legs mounted so far from the “pelvis”. Animated Lockdown also has birthing hips but with a comparatively robust waist to go with it. It's not terrible or a dealbreaker mind you, but I'm not gonna start a new scale and aesthetic for a bunch of okay-ish figures that cost like Leader class prices for Legends figures.

Conflicted. Boatformers are rare to come by, this seems very well done and it even combines with a built-in hand, the fact that it's a symbol of China's current maritime tyranny puts me off big time. Might grab the Yamato that turns into a samurai though. Maybe the Gustav that turns into a skull-faced SS officer and paint his face red so Crossovers Captain America has somebody to fight.

Maybe I'll get over it and just buy the resulting authoritarian Voltron

That's a slightly messy truck mode but otherwise, I'm impressed. It's not arbitrarily huge or small and the transformation appears to be relatively in control. Sculpting is a bit amateurish though.

Non-potato pics might clear things up a little. The chest appears to be part of the actual windshield. No idea how the shoulders work since it’s so damn clean in the respective area of the truck. abs are fake parts except there’s a prominent split in the middle of it

I'm even more confused. The forearm wheels are fake. The real ones must be stuffed inside the torso.

There is all kinds of craziness going on with the shoulders. They appear to be on little revolving doors to hide the joints in truck mode. It also appears that the panels that cover the biceps in truck mode swivel 180 and then flip up, so they form the back of the shoulders. A lot of designers would have just piled them onto the forearm kibble.

Crap, that's a lot more complex than I expected. It's still very impressive but I'd have to think hard about doing that at roughly Earthrise/Stege Optimus size.
I admire these guys though. No shitty teasers, no silhouettes. Just drops images then full product walkthrough the next day. Total gigachad move.

Picked up Kingdom Blackarachnia on clearance for half price. Seems worth about that. The spider mode is kind of a write-off, but the robot mode is decently show-accurate.

Spider mode’s about as good as it gets for what needs to turn into a barbie in cosplay. The Mp has about $150 on her and has an arguably worse spider mode.

lots of really thin breakable bits though. Not so fun to handle.
