If hours of light was so important, I don't get why people wouldn't just reschedule appointments or move business hours an hour earlier/later instead of the dumbass decision to tinker with all the clocks twice a year.

Of course I live in a tropical country, I probably wouldn't understand.

Oh, don't worry about that. Those most of us who live in DST places don't get it either.

In regards to the US. DST removal did make it until a bill not too long ago from what I recall, but the bill never got passed.

One of my senators tries to make DST permanent every session. For some reason it never goes anywhere.

because no one can agree if brighter mornings or brighter evenings is what we want and then it never goes anywhere but they keep trying to make it happen because it's very much a popular thing to do with constituents

Welp. Time to deeply immerse myself in creative pursuits, video games, anime, work, and other highly distracting media in an attempt to ward off the gloom.

I'm just going to draw. It's free (until I run out of my mountains of paper) and I feel like I'm slipping into a trance when I do it. Nothing exists except what's slowly forming on the page.

I kinda want to get into game development, but Blender still defeats me.

I've been super productive lately. Drawing is very good at distracting. I took one class on Python, I might be able to do a short visual novel but that's it.

if i die, i will die as myself. that is the simple truth for me.

(no, i am not going to kill myself)

I'd like to learn some kind of coding, but my brain just refuses to store anything about it. I guess it's a language thing. Like how I was able to take Spanish class for 12 years and after every test it was just *poof* gone.

i don't get why people are so worried about AI taking over the world

Code:
if(goingToTakeOverWorld){
dont();
}

Skynet/ Terminator

Reailty, AI is going to take some jobs, espiecally in Hollywood, because a AI will not cause problems or have a melt down on twitter/X over the vote by the people of one country to chose the person they thought best for the job, while AI is like:
