I’m not about to hold my breath. The general vibe I’ve gotten over the past few years is that there are two sides at Hasbro: The Collector Crew, and Kids crew. And it feels like the two sides don’t really…”interact” with each other. So I picked up my first RotB figures, the Beast Alliance weapon dudes, can't wait to get these out and play with them! But, I'm wondering if these figures would be available for redecos in something like Generations Selects? They wouldn't have the vehicular licensing issues of the regular movie Bots and Cons, but if they're concepts developed for the movie, there might still be licensing restrictions anyway? I only wonder because these would be great potential updates for Action Master partners, Breast partners, etc, IF Hasbro can use them outside of movie tie-in lines. Otherwise, I have to hope they can sneak the redecos I want into the RotB line...
Beast Alliance not-Wheeljack and (recoloured?) Rhinox.

A Movieverse character who looks nothing like their G1 namesake? Quelle suprise!
In other news, water is wet and the sky is overhead.
Those slots in the windshield make it look like the VW bus from Pixar's Cars.
Otherwise, though, aside from the lack of paint that I would expect from a lower-price version of the character, it's not a bad mold. I still don't really like RotB Wheeljack's face, but I think the design other than that is great.
I'm kinda surprised that there isn't a 5mm port on the top of the vehicle mode to plug Rhinox into.
If they hadn't gotten things right with the Bumblebee movie, you might have a point, but, like... they actually nailed it! They know how to make them fit the movie aesthetic without rebuilding the character from scratch. They COULD have just done that again, and being disappointed they didn't is a perfectly reasonable reaction.
