Well, at least we can all rest assured that it's been RUINED FOREVER.
Well, people said that when the Razor Crest blew up (and I myself was devastated, despite not actually backing it, as the only working bathroom I knew of in the entire Star Wars Universe went with it), and this entire team died YEARS ago...
To be fair, they had to pull some shenanigans to get Unicron funded that they haven't done since. (Namely the date extension, dude got like a 84 day campaign compared to 45-ish that most of the current ones go for)
To be fair, Unicron was far more expensive and bigger than anything ever produced to date, I do expect one day for them to revisit Unicron but likely at Titan Class scale, for those looking for a more reasonable priced version and not so big
I do wonder how many actual parts are in LioKaiser's set (not figure numbers, I mean literal parts, like plastic pieces, pins, screws, etc) compared to Unicron? It has to be way above DeathSaurus or Star Saber, very likely well above Omega Prime. Even with some obvious shared moldings between limbs, you know the tooling is going to be insane. I know it's still a far smaller offering, but I wonder how much cost is complexity and how much was sheer mass. I don't have a HasLab Unicron, so I can't easily judge it, but everyone else's pics made it look like an item of furniture, not a figure.

Did someone at Hasbro ever say anything about the possibility of redecos of Omega Prime, or am I just imagining that? Specifically the Yellow Splendid Convoy version?
The reason I ask is, Liokaiser does have a built-in redeco in Big Rescue Force, it would THEORETICALLY be a feasible reuse of the mold without being a retread of the original HasLab...

Honestly? I'd be pretty tempted by a Muppet/Transformers crossover.

I wouldn't be completely opposed to a character-specific one. Probably Kermit as he's the "face" of the Muppets, though Gonzo has always been a personal favorite.
But, if I had my druthers, I'd want it to be more of an original character that looks like a robotic "Anything Muppet." I've been liking the recent trend of making the crossovers into "Cybertronian that converts into a licensed vehicle" instead of "Robot version of a licensed character that turns into their own vehicle." I like it when the robot has characteristics INSPIRED by the world of the licensed property, but not specific to a certain character.
