What stupid thing did the GOP say or do this time? Episode 3!

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

That's the real pain that we have to go through to make America great.
Right. It's stupid but trump actually is making america great again.

But not this america, the next one. The one you all have to rebuild from the ashes of your destroyed country and society.

I'll volunteer to teach finger painting in the post Trump MAGA Reeducation Camps. It'll be a fun old time.

Let's be real here: trump has said he wouldn't do something... and then did it. His cult has said trump wouldn't do things, then he went and did them.

The problem is that we can't trust him to keep his word or abide by contracts: so until he out, we can't rule out that he won't attack with military.

Venezuela isn't even on the table.

He's not really going to use military force to seize Greenland or Canada.
We just don't know that. We hope, we pray, but we do not know what he will do. He is an old man who is clearly suffering age related dementia, yet people still do what he says. He doesn't have a Nancy to save him from himself. He may very well do something.

At the end of the day, the only thing standing between him and putting his worst ideas into action is his laziness. And we don't know how long that will continue to win out.

No. He doesn't have a Chief of Staff with restraint anymore, but the Pentagon is really going to be in his way if he wants to go to war.

You really should consider easing up on the certainty of your positions in regards to what Trump will or won't do.

1) I absolutely hope you are right, and he would indeed face major static if he attempted military action against Greenland or Canada. In all likelihood, it's all just bluff and bluster.

2) As others have pointed out, he absolutely cannot be trusted, especially now since the adults that were present in the room during his first term are all gone. If he does attempt a military move against either, I will absolutely come back here and glare at you in digital fashion.

I'd imagine him going after Panama or Venezuela before Greenland or Canada though. He can more easily sell a shooting war against those dirty, dirty brown people in Latin America because the US is racist as f**k.

This isn't the first time I've seen Venezuela in a sentence like that here. Talk of going to war with Venezuela is even less real than the others. Everything about them is just pretext to deport people without due process. There is nothing in Venezuela that Trump wants to go get.

Apparently Putin gave a speech this past weekend in Murmansk. In the speech he claimed Russia would get Ukraine, Poland, and the Baltics while America could have Greenland, Panama, and Canada.

In response to this I can only (probably) badly quote Run The Jewels. "And I love Doctor King but violence might be necessary. 'Cause when you live on MLK and it get's very scary, you may need to pull your AK send one to the cemetery."

As in, I'm beginning to see a lack of a non-violent option to get us out of this. The Mid-terms feel like a century away, which is funny because we do this once every two years.

Yeah, between this and the news of a concentration camp in Miami, I really cannot say that nonviolence will see us out of this. Like, I really see someone hitting 'hug this' and using their 2nd Amendment rights to express their anger at our slide into the 4th reich.
