The artist for the Revolution comic has a deal in place to put the proofs up for sale on the day of release, and there's something that is likely to have bearing on whatever future animation comes on the final page:

Turns out that in both name and design, Zal-Kron, Queen Zal and these crystal warriors are a deep-cut reference to the 80s Brazilian comics.

If they're going to, they need to move fast. Based on covers and solicits, it seems that issue 3 will be face-melting time and issue 4 will be the abduction.

On the Flutter Valley sets, Wendell Washer (who originally owned these copies) only boarded the songs. I don't know who did the story on Parts 3 and 4, but Part 9 is by Bob Kline, who is a legend among storyboard artists.
