Some more material originating from Flint Dille's storage has been granted release.
After Ron Friedman's two attempts to create an outline for the Super Sunday anthology show Bigfoot And The Muscle Machines, Flint was tasked to take over the project.
The Archive is pleased to add...
Received a full 63 page book of Season 1 backgrounds and equipment models. As the owner did not want to unbind the book and risk wear and tear, the results are not perfect, but they'll do: https://sunbowmarvelarchive.blogspot.com/p/mp-700-transformers-part-1-1984-1985.html
In 2010, screenwriter Ron Friedman consigned many scripts and reference material from his days writing for Sunbow Productions in the mid-80s, to be sold by Heritage Auctions. A group effort by fans, coordinated by Jim Sorenson, saw 31 Transformers TV scripts, briefing binders and the second...
Been using an online scanning service on the photos of production material I've gathered. Done the business for copies Romeo Tanghal found some months back of Floro Dery's concept art, based on Ron Friedman's second TFTM script.
All of the pieces can be found at...
This was all the relevant stuff that was bought by an ebay store from the family's estate sale. There was quite a bit of Hanna-Barbera audition sheets from the mid-80s to the early 90s, quite a lot of mainstream brand commercial work.
I'm beginning to get the picture that the mammoth amount of...
The Sunbow Marvel Archive now hosts a sizeable chunk of Transformers paperwork that once belonged to G1 voice director Wally Burr. Some revised items are awaiting full scans, but in the meantime there is:
Full scripts and call sheets for Five Faces Of Darkness, Parts 2-5 and The Killing Jar...
Thanks to Monzo over at tfwiki, the Archive now has the earliest Marvel Comics treatment for Inhumanoids. Written by Tom DeFalco when the toyline was known as The Force Of Light, some of the earliest building blocks for the property can be found within...
In fairness, though they spent much of the 1980s rehashing old ideas, H-B knew that the animated versions of the Globetrotters had pretty much had their day by the end of the 70s.
And this is the company whose other big syndication effort the same year as Gobots was to do 41 more episodes of...
The front page doesn't give away much, just that Cop-Tur will be replaced (presumably as a mark of respect to the late Bob Holt) and the other main cast would still be around, but downplayed in favour of new characters.
I don't know if I'm late to the party with this info, but a link was sent to me via tumblr.

Gobots Season 2 real (well, nearly).
From one of the main facebook groups, Octane model cel and full storyboard set for Childs Play. The owner is looking to sell, I know people working on cutting a deal for the storyboard set.
With thanks to Ryan King, the Sunbow Marvel Archive now hosts it's eighth full episode storyboard set from the G1 cartoon: Aerial Assault.
With this set in place, the Archive now hosts the full story on all 12 episodes written by Doug Booth, whether via script or storyboard.
With plenty of...
As do I, that is the Briefing Book that was sold publicly. It only focuses on the late season 3 additions, has no proper model sheets (mostly Hasbro design drawings). The only Marvel Productions element included are the Terrorcons colour model cels, photocopied in b&w. With their colours, the...
Are you referring to the 1987 Briefing Book or Flint Dille's character binder? As there is no 1987 show bible.
In either case, the result is the same: I don't know who owns it in order to try and make a deal.
Some photos I got via the Wayback Machine from the TR Trading Company website (used furniture store in LA). A model sheet book covering from Auto-Bop to B.O.T
Would love to have one of these up at the Archive some day.
A bit more info on The Young Astronauts: the Marvel show whose fate was sealed when Challenger exploded.
On Heritage Auctions currently are background layouts for the 4th episode, MP 800-04 "Ghostship", drawn by Disney legend Walt Peregoy. Whose other work for Marvel at that time included My...
Thanks to Monzo, the Sunbow Marvel Archive now hosts storyboards for Act III of Webworld. The season 3 cartoon episode co-written by comics legend Len Wein and Diane Duane, which saw Galvatron committed to psychiatric "care", on a planet possibly more insane than he is.
To view the boards in...
With the citizens of Central City enslaved by the Decepticons and the Autobots presumed dead, Chip Chase makes one last desperate bid to get answers.
This animatic covers the Additional Material storyboard, drawn by Keith Tucker, to cover the shortfall in this episode's script.
